Optical measurement and MATLAB image analysis for depth reconstruction from focus stacks.

My bachelor thesis investigated 3D reconstruction from image series acquired at different focus positions.

Project overview

I developed and characterized an optical measurement setup and implemented the evaluation in MATLAB. The work covered focus measures, depth reconstruction, code optimization and experimental validation.
